F.B. Mediterranean Sea (late 80s/early 90s) Poster

from £24.99

Sister ship to the MEDITERRANEAN SKY. She was built in 1953 as the passenger/cargo ship CITY of EXETER and was one of four identical ships built for the Ellerman Line. She was sold to the Karageorgis Lines in the early 70s and, like her sister CITY of YORK, was completely rebuilt into a car ferry.

She would serve the Karageorgis Line for over 20 years, becoming a popular ship on the Greece to Italy run. She would be sold again in 1996 and renamed TUTKU and later ALICE, however she would never sail under these names, remaining laid up at Chalkida.

She was scrapped in 1998.
