S.S. Italis Poster

from £29.99

Following her disastrous and short stint with Venture Cruises, she was purchased once again by Chandris at auction in 1978 and renamed ITALIS. In an attempt to modernise her appearance (and due to the fact it had become severely corroded) her forward dummy funnel was removed, considerably changing her profile. She would go on to make a few cruises, however, due to her high maintenance and operating costs, she was laid up at Elefsina, Greece and put up for sale again in 1979.
